No Ganesh Puja Celebrations In Odisha’s Twin Cities This Year

Bhubaneswar: Ganesh Puja will not be celebrated at the community level in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack this year due to the COVID-19 situation.

The Twin City Commissionerate Police today informed that no permission has been given to puja committees to celebrate Ganesh Puja at the community level in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. The committees have been urged to cooperate in this regard.The Cuttack district administration had earlier banned organisation of Ganesh Puja publicly. However, observing rituals within houses has been permitted.
