Bhubaneswar:<\/strong> Odisha reported 1341 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 48,796, informed the Government.<\/p>\n

While 818 cases have been reported from different quarantine centres, remaining 523 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said the Health and Family Welfare Department.<\/p>\n

The fresh cases have been reported from 29 districts with Ganjam witnessing highest 227 cases followed by Khordha (218) and Sundargarh (91).<\/p>\n

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 15,427. However, 33,020 patients have recovered in the state so far.<\/p>\n
