Bhubaneswar:  <\/strong>Another 4180 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state\u2019s tally to 1,71,341.<\/p>\n

Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 2466 <\/span>have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1714 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.<\/p>\n

Khordha continues to record highest fresh cases (688 ) followed by Cuttack (492) and Jajpur (184).<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 37,140.  However, 1,33,466 patients have recovered in the state so far.<\/p>\n

It is pertinent to mention here that total 48,146 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 26,67,747 tests have been conducted in the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
