Bhubaneswar:<\/strong> Wildlife lovers eager to meet animals on outskirts of Bhubaneswar after Unlock 4 need to wait for another couple of days as the Nandankanan Zoological Park (NZP) is likely to open in October.<\/p>\n

The zoo is likely to be reopened in first week of October under strict COVID-19 guidelines, informed NZP Director Sashi Paul today.<\/p>\n

Keeping the present situation in view, a special SOP adhering to Coronavirus guidelines will be prepared for the visitors after consulting with the State authorities.<\/p>\n

The zoo has been closed for public since March 2020 after outbreak of COVID-19 in Odisha.<\/p>\n

Source in the NZP said that proper arrangements will be made for tourists as per the COVID-19 guidelines. A fixed number of visitors may enter to maintain social distancing and avoid congregation inside the zoo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
