Cuttack: The Purighat police provided protection to MP Anubhav Mohanty\u2019s wife and actress Varsha Priyadarshini today, a day after she sought the same citing threat to her life.<\/p>\n
A policeman has been deployed at the residence of Mohanty at Nandi Sahi in the city, reports said. Yesterday, two youths had allegedly entered her bedroom and clicked photos while she was eating. Following the incident, Varsha had telephoned the police helpline (100) and sought protection.<\/p>\n
The actress has filed a domestic violence case against actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty before the SDJM court in Cuttack. She has appealed to the court seeking alimony from her husband.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the MP has filed a divorce petition against Varsha in a Delhi court. In his petition, Anubhav alleged that his wife was not allowing sexual relations and natural conjugal life and he was disappointed after making serious attempts to establish physical intimacy with Varsha.<\/p>\n
